Goundnut production
GROUNDNUT PRODUCTION
In this topic I am going to list the step to step processes of groundnut production:
1) The first step is to choose a suitable site for production which should be a sandy loamy soil.
2) Select viable seeds for planting
3) Weed the area you want to plant
4) Make ridges which is more preferred in groundnut production
5) Plant your groundnut at the beginning of the rainy season
6)weed it at least twice before harvesting
7) You can apply fertilizer but for most soils there is no need to apply fertilizers but for poor soils the most suitable fertilizer is single superphosphate fertilizer
8)Depending on the variety, some are ready for harvesting 3months after planting while others may be 4months.
